İYS (İleti Yönetim Sistemi)
Turkey's national database where businesses store and manage consumer consents for commercial electronic messages such as SMS, email, and calls.
Explanation
İYS operates separately from, and alongside, KVKK consent for processing personal data. The system was established under Turkey's e-commerce law between roughly 2015 and 2020. Since 31 March 2025, approval and rejection operations can only be carried out through Official İYS Integrators, which tightens compliance requirements for CRM and lifecycle marketing teams. Turkish marketers must obtain İYS approval before sending any commercial message, on top of KVKK consent.
