Strategic Storytelling
The deliberate use of narrative structure, combined with data and technology, to communicate a brand's purpose or strategy in a way that is memorable and persuasive.
Explanation
Strategic storytelling treats narrative as a management discipline rather than only a creative one: it uses the classic elements of story, character, tension, resolution, to make complex strategy, data, or change initiatives easier for employees, customers, or investors to understand and act on. What distinguishes it from traditional brand storytelling is its integration with digital tools and data, using analytics to shape which stories are told and through which channels they will land most effectively. Audiences retain and act on stories far more reliably than they do on statistics or slide decks alone, and that is the discipline's core value to marketers.
