Change Agent

A person who actively drives and supports the adoption of a new process, structure, or way of working inside an organization.

Explanation

A change agent is an individual, inside or outside a company, who takes responsibility for making organizational change happen and stick, whether that is a new tool, a restructured team, or a shift in business model. The term is standard in management and organizational-development literature and is closely related to "change champion," though a change agent is generally seen as carrying more direct accountability for the change succeeding. Digital transformation, new martech adoption, or rebranding efforts typically fail without someone in this role who drives buy-in, training, and follow-through across departments.
