Question 1

What is MMA Academy MEA?

Accepted Answer

MMA Academy MEA is MMA’s learning arm. It researches what is new and changing in marketing and turns it into insight for individuals and companies: MMA members, marketers who are not members yet, university students and anyone curious about the field. Through free and paid training and certification programs, it supports everyone in the industry from start to finish. Everything is organized into four depths: free open learning at the Surface, free certification in the Open Water, structured and credentialed certification in the Depths, and a limited-seat executive Masterclass at the Lighthouse.

Question 2

I'm new here. Where should I start?

Accepted Answer

At the Surface. Webinars, the 2-Minute Learn & Apply videos, Research & Insight, the Glossary and the rest of the Library are free and open to everyone. When you need a structured credential, go deeper. Reach out to our team to learn more.

Question 3

Which program is right for me?

Accepted Answer

Exploring, or testing the water for your team: the free Surface programs. A senior marketer or functional leader who can commit six months: Emeritus Certification Program. A team that needs hands-on capability now: SEM Digital Training. Anyone who wants a credential at their own pace: Open Water. CMO and board level: The Masterclass.

Question 4

How much do the programs cost, and where do I see prices?

Accepted Answer

Everything at the Surface is free, and so are the self-paced Open Water certificates. Prices for the paid programs are on their own pages: the Emeritus Certification Program and SEM Digital Training. For Masterclass pricing for your company, email Nilay Yanardağ (nilay@mmaglobal.com) or Şenay Cengiz (senay@mmaglobal.com).

Question 5

How do I become an MMA member?

Accepted Answer

Some programs are members-only, and members get a discount on others. Ask the team about joining MMA.

Question 6

What is actually free?

Accepted Answer

A wide range of content, all free: Research & Insight: reports, playbooks and guides on AI adoption, media investment, gaming, audio and more. Recordings of past webinars and events, plus the 2-Minute Learn & Apply videos and the Glossary. Two free certification programs in Open Water: the MarTech Certificate, on choosing, integrating and retiring the tools in a marketing stack; and the Marketing AI Certification (MAC), on working as an AI-native marketing team. MAC is upcoming.

Question 7

Can I watch a webinar I missed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, two ways. The Webinars page in the Library lists every session, and our YouTube channel holds all the recordings. Subscribe to the channel to hear about upcoming webinars as soon as they are announced.

Question 8

What language are the webinars in?

Accepted Answer

Most current and upcoming sessions are in Turkish. Webinars held in another language can be watched with Turkish subtitles, using YouTube’s auto-translate feature.

Question 17

Who is SEM?

Accepted Answer

MMA Academy’s training partner in Türkiye and the MENA region, named Performance Agency of the Year by MMA in Türkiye and MEA. Every trainer runs live campaigns in their own field.

Question 18

What's the difference between the All-in-One programs and the Focus Sessions?

Accepted Answer

The All-in-One programs cover the whole of digital marketing. The 360° Data-Driven Advertising Certificate is 42 hours over eight weeks, hands-on, with a graded final project. The Digital Marketing Management Program is 24 hours over four weeks, for managers who direct teams and agencies. Focus Sessions are nine single-topic trainings of 2 to 8 hours each; take only the ones your team needs.

Question 19

Who can join the Focus Sessions?

Accepted Answer

MMA members. Each session runs with 6 to 16 people (6 to 12 for some). Sessions are live online by default and can also run in person or hybrid. Longer sessions are split into shorter parts: an 8-hour session, for example, runs as four 2-hour sessions.

Question 20

Do I need to be a member for the 360° or Digital Marketing Management programs?

Accepted Answer

No. Focus Sessions are for MMA members, but the two All-in-One certificate programs, the 360° Data-Driven Advertising Certificate and the Digital Marketing Management Program, are open to everyone, with 8 to 24 people per class.

Question 21

What do participants leave with?

Accepted Answer

A joint SEM and MMA Academy certificate. The 360° certificate is also issued with a partner university. Participants keep the applied work they produce.

Question 22

What is Open Water?

Accepted Answer

Free, self-paced online certification with no cohort and no calendar. The MarTech Certificate is available now; the Marketing AI Certification (MAC) is upcoming. Both are interactive and assessed.

Question 23

Is there an eligibility review?

Accepted Answer

No. Enrollment is free and open.

Question 24

How long does it take, and how is it assessed?

Accepted Answer

Open Water is self-paced: start when you want, finish when you finish. The assessment is made up of knowledge questions built into the platform, and you need to reach the pass mark to earn the certificate. Once you pass, the platform sends your MMA Academy digital certificate automatically. If you run into a problem, email mma.academy@mmaglobal.com.

Question 25

Which universities does MMA Academy work with in Türkiye?

Accepted Answer

MMA Academy brings its content into universities through courses, programs and guest sessions, open to those universities’ students: Galatasaray University: digital marketing courses in the 2026–2027 fall term, taught inside the university’s own program. Bahçeşehir University: the MarTech101 program with BAU CO-OP and BAU Branding Innovation, covering growth marketing, the MarTech stack and AI agents over two days. Sabancı University: a guest-speaker series bringing MMA Academy voices into the classroom. The 2025–2026 spring run has completed. See Partners for more.

Question 26

What is the Masterclass?

Accepted Answer

The Masterclass is a series of sessions where senior executives gain perspective on global and local trends from leading experts, learn from peers across different sectors, and work through exercises that help them anticipate the impact of change. The first Masterclass is a three-hour session on leading through AI rather than just adopting it, with three executive cases and direct Q&A in a small group. The session leader is Dr. Tawfik Jelassi, former Assistant Director-General of UNESCO.
